Writing has always been Aisha Moore’s passion. An only child of an elementary
teacher, Aisha was encouraged to write daily to spark her imagination and
keep her busy. This led to countless journals and diaries documenting each
phase of her life. Every important or memorable event was recorded,
developing the groundwork for her story telling.
Aisha won a full tuition scholarship from Eastman Kodak Company to attend
Hampton University. This period of life was tremendously stressful and lonely
and Aisha sank into a deep depression. After obtaining failing grades, she
became determined to overcome the feeling of despair that shadowed her.
Aisha developed a personal relationship with God, praying daily for the first
time. Those prayers manifested into an intimate relationship with God for
which she is ever thankful and reliant upon. Through her faith and God’s grace
she was able to successfully complete her formal education when she
graduated from Georgetown University Law Center.
A wife and mother, Aisha still prays multiple times daily, and has resumed
writing daily journals. She is inspired by stories of faith and courage that
demonstrate God’s nature and examine a person’s ability to change by faith.
